Turning 40 was always going to be a big thing. No matter which way that you look at it. I knew in my heart that it would be harder with my infertility journey and the adversities which had come before us, but I also knew that it was an opportunity to be able to step into the next chapter of life. To look forward to the next 40 years, ahead.

Forty-Ward: Looking into the next chapter, life is all about “Acceptance, Ability, And Assurance”. The 3 A’s! Not to mention, the 3 L’s: Love, Laughter and Light. See, you can take it from me.. this is just the beginning. The beginning of starting over. No matter how that might look. No matter how that might feel. Life definitely is different to exactly what I thought. But above all, I AM GRATEFUL. I TRULY AM.

 

The top 40 tips for life as a Mumma, wife and woman in 2024.

  1. Learn to love yourself.
  2. Be bold.
  3. Be brave.
  4. Be kind.
  5. Be you.
  6. Don’t be afraid to fight for what you love.
  7. Don’t be afraid to cry.
  8. Don’t be afraid to fail and to try again.
  9. Seek out opportunities and trust your gut.
  10. Live life everything day to the fullest.
  11. Be your own best-friend.
  12. Be as giving wherever you can.
  13. Take all of the photos, and all of the screenshots! Snap away. Memories and moments, quotes and affirmations.
  14. Write the book!
  15. Book the plane trip.
  16. Do that adventure and take that leap of faith!
  17. Get your nails done.
  18. Enjoy that spray tan!
  19. Definitely and positively embrace self-love.
  20. Enjoy all of the food and ensure that you can try your best to have a healthy and balance diet.
  21. Dress to impress. Not matter what the occasion, enjoy dressing and frocking up.
  22. Try the best champagne and celebrate that very special occasion!
  23. Take time to chill, and watch all of the shows and movies that you want to. BINGE, BINGE, and BINGE!
  24. Be simply present in the divine moment. Kick off your boots and stay for a little bitty while. Embrace it all. Each little moment, for they are truly the big moments, in the big scheme of life, as we know it. xo
