Rachael is extremely humbled to be nominated as a finalist for two categories – Leadership and People’s Choice.
#AusMumpreneur #2020 #awards xoxoxo <3 xx

Local business woman named as a finalist for National Awards

Rachael Tickner of Rachael Elizabeth Consulting/Tickner Publishing has been named as a finalist for the 2020 AusMumpreneur Awards in the Leadership Category and People’s Choice – Making a Difference category.
The AusMumpreneur Awards presented by The Women’s Business School celebrate and recognize Australian Mums in business achieving outstanding success in areas such as business excellence, product development, customer service and digital innovation. The awards are designed to recognize the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.
Rachael Tickner is a wife, mum of two boys and law student. She is a journalist and an author of a gift book that helps mums through early pregnancy loss. The gift book, Flutterby Baby Book is self-published by Tickner Publishing and supports The Pink Elephants Support Network charity with $5 from each book being donated to the cause. Rachael has run a successful international PR business in the past, before starting her consulting business as a mother and entrepreneur. Over the past two decades, she has worked for a number of high-profile brands and across a variety of industries in Australia.
Her passion is writing and sharing stories. Both Rachael Elizabeth Consulting and Tickner Publishing has achieved some wonderful results for its client bases. Tickner Publishing secured a distribution partnership with Woodslane and Flutterby Baby Gift Book is sold in all good bookstores around the country and in New Zealand.
Rachael Tickner is delighted to be named as a finalist and is proud of her achievements, particularly the difference that Flutterby Baby Book (Tickner Publishing) is making with some local Brisbane maternity hospitals supporting the book and her ongoing client PR and marketing work with an array of industries, from real estate clients, hospitality and through to IT.

2020 AusMumpreneur Awards
www.ausmumpreneur.com
There are many benefits to balancing business and motherhood as Rachael Tickner explains, “There are so many things that I love about being a mumpreneur and having a supportive group of women. The flexibility it brings our family is ultimately what lead me to be a Mumpreneur and I hope to also mentor other mums in the publishing industry.”
It can be challenging to be a successful businesswoman whilst raising a family and Rachael Tickner gives this advice for others thinking about starting their own enterprise. “My advice for other mums out there who are looking at starting a business is to not rush things. It took me a few years of planning to take the plunge and I’m so glad that I did. I haven’t looked back and look forward to continually growing and building upon my business.”

Easter Fun for Every Bunny in 2020 – Easter Has Never Looked So Different As it Does Now xo

by The Pink Jubilee, Editor, Rachael Elizabeth Tickner xoxo <3

Good Friday, April 10 – Easter Monday. April 12 – Easter with Isolation as the world is experiencing the Coronavirus Pandemic Globally xo

This year, we will all mostly be in isolation, but there are many positives to this in my eyes. Family time, interacting with your loved ones, sharing special memories and moments before four walls. Time truly is of the essence. Each and every single moment, is there to be soaked up, as we all get back to basics. As together, we make moments and memories to last an entire lifetime. To share our special moments with the ones we care about most. To laugh with them, to share special memories together, to embrace the little things in life. We are so very lucky for that, right now, right here, in the month of April. For we will one day look back on this time in history and we will remember, remember what we did and the moments we shared.

Family Easter craft fun with beautiful sea shells that we collected together xoxo

Good Friday Diary: A Family Day at Home. <3 Baking, crafting and being together. Priceless moments and memories to treasure forever and ever. xo

The day was spent creating memories. The kindness of being in isolation and the little things, I’m doing my best to remind myself of. To not take family for granted. To not take anything for granted. To enjoy all of the little moments. The time with kids, the time with my husband, the time with nature, the time just being still. To embrace the beauty that is life and that is still in the world. <3 xoxox It truly is a special time to be just in the moment. xoxoxox.

Today we made home-made scones with white choc chips and our own caramel sauce, it was delish. I would love to try hot cross buns next. <3 xoxox

Easter Saturday Diary: Today we plan to go to the shops and get some Easter PJ’s for the boys. <3 xxoxoox I think we’ll look at Best n Less, Target or K-Mart. No doubt we’ll find some really cute ones there.

We will also work on our Easter table setting. Brent my hubby and I secretly love working on our special Easter table. It’s always lots of fun. xoxo From the soft bunny toys, through to the special gold place settings, there is a special little something that is included for everyone’s place setting. xo We can’t wait for the Easter Bunny to visit and we have all been good girls and boys. The kids have been on their best behaviour which is lovely to see and they are bursting with excitement for the big man in white with his basket for of Easter eggs and special treats come this Sunday. xo

Easter Sunday Diary: Today is the big day! One of our family favourite days of the year. The day that the kids have been counting down to, just like Xmas, the Easter Bunny has arrived! We’ll enjoy a yummy cooked breakfast and will make the most of seeing the kids little faces light up when the Easter Bunny has arrived! So very special. xoxo I feel that this year will be even more extra special with Oscar being 2 almost 3 this November. xoxo

Easter Monday Diary: The Easter fun will continue but I will likely have to do some work. <3 xoxo I am sure that the boys will all have a wonderful day together, making new memories as we all enjoy the rest of the Easter break. It will be nice to try and get some fresh air today, if we can. xoxox.

Ideas to Make Easter that more Extra Special – An Easter Egg-travaganza! xxoxo Make a special Easter box filled with special goodies, such as a new book to read, a new pair of PJs, a new pair of socks, a new teddy, a new little fork and spoon perhaps to mark Easter for the year, a cookie cutter little shape or a little craft and activity set which they will love. xoxo There are so many great little ideas, and all which will make them smile! xoxo

With the Easter egg hunt, have fun and take the Easter Bunny hunt from inside to outside, incorporating the back garden for lots of hiding spot fun in the sun! xoxo I know for us, with wanting to enjoy as much fresh air as possible at the moment, our Easter Bunny will no doubt pop the eggs in special spots for us, such as the kids cubby house and amongst the flowers! xoxo

Wishing yourself and your family a safe and happy Easter. xo

Introducing the beautiful …. Special Travelling Dress That’s Uniting Women Across the Country! Pink Elephants Partners with Leina Broughton

Words by Blogger, Rachael Tickner of The Pink Jubilee, The Baby Blossom and The Beauty Blossom blogs. xoxo

The beautiful Travelling dress campaign team. <3 xo

A Special Travelling Dress Uniting Women Across the Country – In Partnership with Leina Broughton and The Pink Elephants Support Network – Supporting a Cause that is Close to my heart. #LBTravellingdress

Leina Broughton, the beautiful Gold Coast based brand in Queensland is donating $25 from the sale of each of their Mystic Print dresses to The Pink Elephants Support Network.

I am so very proud to be a part of their very special campaign, which sees The Mystic Print dress travel around the country and be worn and shared by many women who have been touched by miscarriage. Helping raise awareness for a wonderful cause and one that is close to my heart.

I, like 282 women per day around Australia have experienced the devastation of miscarriage, not once, but twice and I am so grateful to The Pink Elephants Support Network for the wonderful work which they do, with their complementary resources to help women and their families who have been through pregnancy loss.

To all of the mums and their families who have experienced miscarriage, you are not alone. We stand with you.

Supporting the Leina Broughton and The Pink Elephants Support Campaign Collaboration

The Mystic Print dress is just gorgeous in every way. The fabric is so soft, and it flows and hugs in all of the right places. I am usually a 14-16 and this dress which I am wearing is a size 14. I feel that it has plenty of room still and it could be dressed up, or down – so perfect for work wear, a girl’s night out, or a brunch with the family. The dress comes in three different style options:

My beautiful sister-in-law and I wearing the Mystic Robin dress. RRP is $259, with $25 per dress being donated to The Pink Elephants Support Network Charity. xo

Monique Dress in Mystic – $269.000

So versatile for daytime to evening wear. Dress up, or dress down. Perfect for every occasion and suits all lifestyles. xo

A dress that gives back: United in Print. xo

A dress for all seasons and one to make you smile with it’s beautiful fabric design. Such a classy print and a fabric which feels amazing on! Complements all shapes and sizes and is a stunning number for your wardrobe. xo

Monique has been dubbed as, “the perfect” work dress, by the Leina Broughton community. With a high round neckline and a flattering flutter sleeve that is perfectly balanced by her full volume skirt. She is a dress that unites all heights and is perfect for popping in a suitcase and not worrying about creasing! At the time of the blog post going live, size 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 24 are all available.

The Stella Dress in Mystic – $279.00

Embrace the beauty in you. xo Elegant and timeless, a statement piece for your wardrobe that will last all four seasons… and beyond. xo

The Stella dress that is known as the most famous and much-loved dress in the Leina Broughton range, was one of the very first dresses which Leina designed and it is also named after her Mum. Stella is reversible so can be worn with the v-wrap neckline or the classic boatneck. The dress feels so fabulous on that you are going to want to twirl in the street. A perfect little number for every occasion.

Features: Reversible fixed wrap top with double layer boat-neck bodice, 3/4 sleeves and full volume dipped skirt with tube lining.

The Robin Dress in Mystic – $259.00

The pretty pink tones, against the black and beige fabric, with hints of green and apricot is the perfect mix. Such flattering colour tones. I felt like I could have had no make-up, no tan (was natural with a little bit of make up in my shots) and it felt great! I can’t wait to invest in one for myself, my little sister and mum. My sister-in-law also loved trying on her dress for size and agreed that it was a perfect fit! xo

The beautiful Robin is a functioning wrap dress with tuck detail on the top of the front skirt to create a flattering shape. The back bodice is lined to create smooth lines and 3/4 sleeves sit at an elegant length.

Features: Functioning wrap dress with flattering waist drape and extended waist ties, 3/4 length sleeve and lined back bodice with long length skirt.

$25 from the purchase of the Monique Dress is donated to The Pink Elephants Support Network.

All dresses are made and designed with love and care, right here in Australia, by the Leina Broughton team.

A Weekend Away at Spicers Tamarind – one of the Coast’s best kept secrets!

Enjoy a weekend at Spicers Tamarind in beautiful Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland with the family xoxo

Mummy and Ollie – My first born son.

The Tickner family – walking along the beautiful track onsite. Everything was so beautiful and green. Autumn is such a pretty time of year to visit the Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, and not too hot! xo

Daddy and Oscar Bear – Enjoying quality time together on our special family walk and photoshoot. Little Oscar Bear, always being a character with his cutie glasses!

The two boys just loved having a home “away from home” for two nights. Despite us all being sick with the Autumn flu bug, our stay truly was magical in every way. We didn’t want to leave come Sunday morning! xo

Ollie growing up so very fast. It’s so hard to believe that come this July, we’ll have a little 5-year-old on our hands! xo

Of course, this was my fave stop at the Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival! I love a good drop of bubbles and the styling was so gorgeous. I couldn’t help myself, but get the gorgeous, Sarah Taylor, from Fire n Honey images to take a quick snap for me. (Bubbles in hand and they were delish – so very refreshing on a warm Autumn afternoon in the hinterland.) xo

My family true are everything to me and more. I love them so very much. I feel so very blessed and absolutely honoured to call them my beautiful family. I don’t know what I’d do without them. We really hope to travel more. Travel with family opens up so many opportunities. I can’t wait to pack our little suitcases some more and to see where the beautiful big-wide world takes us. On a journey of self-discovery. #family #love #life. xo

The Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival which is hosted at Spicers Tamarind, truly is a beautiful festival in its own right. The weather was perfect, the vibe super chilled and relaxed and the food was absolutely delish! xo

The dishes were all delicately selected by the amazing head chef of Spicers Tamarind, Daniel Jarrett. Every single food experience that the family and I had on the day and during our stay, was just simply amazing!

The tuna bowl between you and I, was an absolute hit! It tantalised the taste-buds. There were so many amazing food stations on offer. So much goodness. And all in the one place! Spicers Tamarind. 5 stars out of 5, all the way! xo

The beautiful lawn in front of the centre stage area. Everything is so pretty and the little herb gardens in the grounds are just incredible. I honestly can’t wait to go back again and hopefully it’s very soon! xo

Everything was so fresh, and authentic. The ticket price of $99 is such good value. (We were very lucky to have won our festival tickets, which I am so very grateful for our experience. It was one-of-a-kind!)

Stay tuned for my upcoming travel story, with more on our amazing two-night stay with the family. It would be so nice to return with hubby one day too. I can’t wait. Bring on the next staycation on the Sunshine Coast! xo
